Western Canada Summer Games

The Western Canada Summer Games is a multi-sport event held every two years in Canada alternating between the Western Canada Winter Games and Western Canada Summer Games. The Western Canada Games provide development opportunities for amateur athletes and helps them advance their skills in a competitive, but friendly environment.

The competitors for the WCSG consist of athletes rom the four Western Provinces (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba), and the three Territories (Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut). Athletes are strictly amateur only, and represent their Province or Territory. The Games are a U15 competition that will be for male and female players born in 2003 or later.

The Manitoba Soccer Association sends 1 male and 1 female soccer team to the Western Canada Summer Games to represent the province of Manitoba.
